For more information about the Shell-Ferrari partnership here is an excerpt from Ferrari.com:
Marina Bay, 22 September – There was an exchange of gifts today in the Singapore pit lane, as part of the celebrations to commemorate a partnership between Shell and Scuderia Ferrari that has now reached its five hundredth Grand Prix. Regarded as one of the best examples of a technical and commercial relationship, its history dates back to 1920, when Enzo Ferrari was still a racing driver. Today, in pit lane, in front of the Scuderia garage, Shell Downstream Director Mark Williams presented Scuderia Team Principal Stefano Domenicali, along with Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa, with a specially commissioned painting by Michael Turner of the Ferrari 125 F1, that took part in the 1950 Monaco Grand Prix, seen alongside this year’s F2012. Reflecting the long history of the partnership, in return, the Ferrari men presented Shell with a photo album made out of carbon, featuring photos that cover the period of the collaboration from its beginnings to the present day

Buying Books Online (Free Delivery to the Philippines)
Purchasing Books Online and Shipping them to the Philippines (or anywhere in the world)
Hi there Technolifers! i know that most of you are interested on how to shop online for books but are very hesitant to try because of fear that your orders will get lost.
Fear no more because I have verified that ordering books online via Bookdepository.co.uk is a safe and wise choice if the book selection in your local bookstore is very limited. I ordered David Busch's Canon Powershot G12 camera guide from Bookdepository.co.uk because my local bookstores here in the Philippines don't stock this book and some of them even don't have a section dedicated to Photography books. I immediately used my Debit card and purchased my book and availed of the free worldwide delivery offer which includes the Philippines.
No need to worry about customs fee also for Philippine residents as there is a law exempting customs duties if you import one book from overseas.

F1 Sauber C31 spotted in the Singapore urban jungle
While doing my usual stroll along Orchard Road last month, i happened to pass by the Mandarin Gallery and spotted this thing of beauty, the Sauber C31.
The Sauber C31 is a Formula One racing car designed by Sauber for the 2012 Formula One season. It was debuted at the 2012 australian grand prix and has achieved its first podium this season in the 2012 Malaysian Grand Prix with a 2nd place finish by Mexican driver Sergio Perez.
What i like most about the C31 is that it looks simpler and cleaner as compared to the Red Bulls which have very loud liveries (aka decals/stickers). Ok that's all for now, just Stay tuned for more car sightings here...

Should you buy a Blackberry Playbook?
The Blackberry Playbook is Research in Motion's first foray into the very hot Tablet market, competing with the Galaxy Tabs, iPads and the soon to be released Surface tablet from Microsoft. Here we review the 16GB version.
Blackberry Playbook Home Screen |
After the much awaited 2.0 OS update, the Blackberry Playbook has now a native email app and a calendar, Features that were eagerly anticipated by most of the existing current playbook users.
Unique Features:
One of the unique features of the Playbook is its ability to sync with your Blackberry phone via a special application known as Blackberry Bridge, a very simple to use program that allows your Playbook to use your Blackberry Phone's 3G connection when there is no Wi-fi hot spot available.
The Playbook also features native flash support which allows you to fully enjoy websites created with full flash animation and gives you a richer Youtube video quality as compared with other tablets like the iPad which uses the html5 format.
Dual cameras with 1080p support enables you to take HD quality pictures and videos with the built in front and back cameras on the Playbook.
The Playbook is also capable of HDMI output which means you can connect your playbook to your HDTV and enjoy your videos and photos on your very own Big screen.. Nice right?
Conclusion: At $199 US, The Blackberry Playbook 16GB gives you the best value for money, offering you native flash support, HDMI out and a more portable tablet as compared with iPad and even Microsoft's upcoming Surface. Highly recommended for those who want to maximize their Blackberry smartphone experience and for those not bothered by the lack of 3G connection.
Once you go Black(berry), You can never go back!
